The Information is Beautiful Awards has been celebrating excellence & beauty in data visualization, infographics, interactives & information art since 2012.
After the successful return of the awards in 2022, the awards are returning for 2023 and will be presented by the Data Visualization Society (DVS).
About the awards
Every year, hundreds of visualizations are submitted to the Awards. Our judges review each entrant for how well it suits the medium (infographic, interactive, data visualization and more) & how well it illuminates the topic: Arts, Entertainment & Culture, Current Affairs & Politics, Places, Spaces & Environment, People, Language & Identity, Science, Technology & Health, Humanitarian, Leisure, Games & Sport, and Unusual.
